Trash: Plan to bring a trash bag and take all trash with you when you leave. If we continue to keep the land clean, the land owner will hopefully continue to let us use the land for launches.
Parking: If the ground is dry, you may park just off the road in the designated areas, but do not ever drive out of the designated area on the field. This action is reserved for the PMW Staff only, and will only occur when conditions permit us to do so. If the ground is wet or if rain is threatening, please park along the road. Please always watch your children when they are near the road.
Camping: Camping is allowed, but the land owner does not ever want open flames, including flames from grills, lanterns, etc, to be present on his property. Please talk with a PMW officer before camping.
If you have an “N” impulse (or higher) flight planned, please contact the PRESIDENT. Our standing waiver is 23,000 feet AGL from 9am to dark every weekend, and after dark to 10pm our waiver is to 10,000 feet AGL. If you need motors or any rocket components, please contact Carey Huff at HUFF PERFORMANCE. We will post a vendors page once other vendors commit to this launch.
FAA Waiver: Standing 23,000 feet (AGL) from 9am to dark, and then to 10,000 feet (AGL) to 10pm.
Raffle tickets will be on sale at the Registration desk. Also the weather this time of year in the south is usually very good for flying, so load the car with rockets and come join us. We look forward to seeing everyone in October.
